Remember folks. The original bluesky ethos by us bluesky elders (apparently I count?) is block and move on.

Don't quote dunk, don't pick fights.
Block, and move on.

This is what made this site unpalatable to the right early on, and we can continue to make it unpalatable to them.
I feel very much the same. But I am also glad the creators said they will never make a live action out of it, either.
No, that's totally fair if you didn't like that bit. But, I think it was because I was writing it from the POV of a young girl, and she wouldn't necessarily know to call it a base plate.
I think I didn't use base plate for a reason...I can't recall.
When I handed it in, my professor said I should. I tried and tried, and no one wanted it, so I posted it for free online. And still...nearly no one wants to read it. 😅
Ah. Layers of Fear is about an artist who goes insane as he's trying to paint the perfect portrait. He uses various bits of viscera to do so.

My short story is about someone observing strange goings-on at an art gallery, and how the pieces are a bit too life-like.
For which? The Silent Hill/Supernatural cross over or the short story?
It was somewhere around novel length if I can recall. It was a long time ago.

But I have since written a short story heavily inspired by the game Layers of Fear that my professor really liked.
Starting my next #crossstitch. Guess who!
Welcome to aging. I've being doing this bullshit since I hit 30.
I've got a switch and some gameboys. I'm sure I can find one to play somewhere 😁
I'm really tired of people thinking they are morally/intellectually superior because they don't enjoy something that others do, or like something others don't.
I've been kind of craving playing a new Pokémon game, myself. I've only ever played Yellow and Let's Go Pikachu.
