We're taking to the streets this Saturday at hundreds of protests nationwide to reject the Trump administration's attacks on our rights.

I love Granada. Have you ever tried Metal Stoker on PC Engine? It has a similar appeal.

Upcoming show in SF!

Wisdom Waveform 🎹🎻🍂
Nov 9 @ 2pm

We'll be performing with our friends @jasonyu.me, @roninopf.bsky.social & @sixthstationtrio.bsky.social in an afternoon of classical fusion music & local art!

Hosted by @syzygysf.com 🤎

🎨: Meena Vempaty

Tix: syzygysf.com/events/wisdom-waveform
Illustrated flyer by Meena Vempaty, with the pixelated words "Wisdom Waveform" in a puddle of water. Instruments from the game "Link's Awakening" lay on the floor of a northern California forest in autumn, with redwood leaves and tiny white mushrooms strewn across the scene.

Text says:

"Infloresce and Friends: Wisdom Waveform, featuring Jason M. Yu, aivi & surasshu, Ronin Op F, and Sixth Station Trio. Classical fusion music.

Get tickets at syzygy.com/events/wisdom-waveform.

Address: Syzygy SF, 395 South Van Ness Ave, San Francisco, CA 94103.

Date: November 9, 2025 at 2 PM."

I want to add the Speed Buggy sparkle effect to the water. That engine does a lot of cool things and has lots of personality.

Progress so far on my DOS game jam game. So far I can add more lanes by changing the texture, but the game logic still thinks it’s off-road. The different terrain also doesn’t do anything yet.

Sound is desynched from the DOSBox recording somehow.

The third one is strange. I’m not sure what to think of it.

Have you seen Infernal Affairs? It’s like a Wong-Leung reunion.

I can appreciate their space program, just like I can appreciate ours even though it’s basically more military-industrial complex. The international space station is a pretty cool project.

Well this year sure has sucked

I can “see everything” in Spy Hunter in less than an hour (icy roads, bridge out, etc).

Does it have to be a 1cc?

It’s strange to me that people who understand why using the word “crusade” is no longer acceptable, who understand how dress codes and other seemingly innocuous things can enable exclusion of black people and other minorities, but somehow can’t wrap their head around their own dog whistles…

Someone has made a font of the Super Hang On logo and I was inspired

It was also an early game to use keyboard for movement and mouse to aim, before Abuse and before most FPS games.

Raymond Usher somehow credited, and I assume this is an in-joke.

Box is biodegradable. Quite 90s.

This one is an interesting game. It was made by DMA Design after Lemmings, but their design of the little guys in this inspired the Lemmings concept.

It’s a pretty entertaining gallery shooter with left-right movement which stretches thin because of its long length. Solid game though. Unique.

There’s something inspiring about those 8-bit pins when they’re good, right? The physics I think are probably pretty simple. It’s been a bucket list item of mine too to make something like that.

Oh cool! Is that a raycasted tile at a time environment or is it using something else?

I often wonder this about pets. It’s probably a good thing cats can’t talk, they’d probably say some crazy shit

I didn’t know this was a thing! Is it a door game or did one of the big services have it?
