IU previously directed the Indiana Daily Student to stop printing news coverage in our newspaper. Upon pushback, the university fully cut print, including our special editions. The IDS was not involved in the decision.

Media School Dean David Tolchinsky sent the order to IDS leadership in an email responding to its appeal that the school not censor the newspaper. And the dean attributed the decision to “the campus.” He has not yet responded to a message for clarification.

i’ve posted some version of this many times so i finally decided to make my case for it: taxing the rich is not only good for us. it is good for them. having a billion dollars is like toxic waste for your soul. we can and should remove it from them. it’s the loving thing to do!

Accidentally fell asleep at 9:30 last night, so my body was ready to go at 6:45 today. Did you all know there’s a thing called “morning”? When you can observe something called a “sunrise” on a “chilly fall day” with a cup of “coffee”? I thought it was fake all these years but is apparently real.

People think it’s silly or odd when I talk about coming out to myself and then coming out to God — but when you’ve been praying to be fixed for 4-5 years and realizing it’s not going to happen and that’s even better, it’s a major shift!

Jacob’s thread is great. I wasn’t given a book per se, but seriously considered going to Grove City College because Warren Throckmorton was there. I was *very* bought in to the mindset behind conversion therapy.

I was lucky to never undergo formal conversion therapy, but I was given books about it (specifically "Light In the Closet") and absorbed a lot of the mindset. Beyond the suicidality it can push you to when you realize you can't change the way you want to, conversion therapy fucks with the way you
