Officer Le stated to Officer Cho D-1 made a threatening statement to V-1 and V-2 by stating "get the fuck out of here, I'm going to shoot you and kill you", "knock the fuck out of you", and by adding racial slur by stating "nigger bitch" to one of the DC Fire Engine member who is a African American female.
Officer Le stated to Officer Cho that D-1 then threw an aluminum can towards V-1 and V-2 and struck V-2 on her left arm. D-1 then threw a plastic bottle (gallon bottle) toward V-1 and V-2 and struck V-2 in her center mass of her body. D-1 threw a metal object toward V-1 and V-2 which did not strike nether V-1 nor V-2. Officer Le and Officer Janezashvili were able to secure the scene by detaining D-1 in handcuffs at approximately 1800 hours. V-1 and V-2 did not sustain any injury.
A CST (Crime Suppression Unit) queried WALES/NCIC on D-1. D-1 had active Bench Warrant (OCA/2025CDC008619-732415) out of District of Columbia Superior Court Criminal Division and was issued by Judge Rbouchet.
Officer Cho interviewed W-1, W-2, W-3, and W-4. All four witnesses who are National Guards, stated to Officer Cho that they all heard D-1 making felony threats to V-1 and V-2.

RECONSIDERATION OF UNNECESSARY NEW
AFFIRMATIONS REQUIRED TO OBTAIN A PRESS PASS
When Secretary Hegseth came into office, Pentagon officials pledged to make this "the most transparent Department of Defense in history." Since then, we have seen an inordinate amount of time spent systematically limiting access to information about the U.S. military—information vital to members of the military, their families, all American taxpayers, and the general public.
This effort has culminated in an ultimatum to members of the Pentagon press corps: surrender your press pass or sign a document acknowledging vague new policies that, on their face, appear to violate the First Amendment.
This Wednesday, most Pentagon Press Association members seem likely to hand over their badges rather than acknowledge a policy that gags Pentagon employees and threatens retaliation against reporters who seek out information that has not been pre-approved for release.
Our members did nothing to create this disturbing situation. It arises from an entirely one-sided move by Pentagon officials apparently intent upon cutting the American public off from information they do not control and pre-approve — information concerning such issues as sexual assault in the military, conflicts of interest, corruption, or waste and fraud in billion-dollar programs. Reporting by the Pentagon press corps involves issues that matter not just to the public, but also to the well-being of the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Guardians who protect America on a daily basis. Their potential expulsion from the Pentagon should be a concern to all.

The Pentagon Press Association has made no recommendation to its members about whether to sign the new acknowledgment each reporter will have to make a final decision based on guidance from their individual media outlet. The PPA, however, continues to question why the problematic new acknowledgement is necessary.

FACT: Reporters in the Pentagon have always worn badges, and PPA members have no issue with doing so. Despite statements from Secretary Hegseth and others claiming the issue is that our members don't want to wear badges, reporters have always had to wear identification badges inside the Pentagon and have done so without complaint.
FACT: Pentagon access provided to reporters has always been limited to unclassified, open spaces. Members of the Pentagon leadership have suggested that the new policy is needed because the press have been going into secret spaces and obtaining classified documents. This is flatly untrue. Access by members of the Pentagon press corps has always been limited to
unclassified spaces - the same spaces that coffee shop employees, cleaning crews, and others with no security clearance are able to traverse daily. Longstanding press access rules posed no national security threat, which is why those rules continued without problem for decades, across multiple administrations of both political parties.
Fact: No other government agency requires any similar affirmation from the press. The White House and State Department do not require reporters to sign any similar acknowledgment to obtain access to their buildings. The same is true for other government agencies.
FACT: There is no reason for the Pentagon to require reporters to sign a new document. For decades, reporters seeking a badge to work inside the Pentagon simply signed a single-page form outlining certain access limits.

The new 21-page document adds extensive legal claims, laying out unprecedented contentions about what is and is not acceptable newsgathering and gagging Defense Department employees, from the highest official to the lowest junior officer in the field, from providing information to a reporter without permission.
The Pentagon certainly has the right to make its own policies, within the constraints of the law. There is no need or justification, however, for it
to require reporters to affirm their understanding of vague, likely unconstitutional policies as a precondition to reporting from Pentagon facilities. The Pentagon's required acknowledgment is particularly problematic because it demands reporters to express an "understanding" that harm inevitably flows from the disclosure of unauthorized information, classified or not — something everyone involved knows to be untrue.
There is simply no need for this battle. The Pentagon has no reason for the new acknowledgment other than to chill both reporters and their sources — something many of our members cannot abide.
Americans deserve honest, unvarnished, thorough reporting about their military. We urge Pentagon leadership to reconsider.

If the people apprehending you don't tell you who they are, won't tell you why you're being arrested, and their only uniform is a mask, how are you supposed to know the difference between a criminal and a law-officer?

Heute jährt sich der Todestag von Jörg Haider zum
17. Mal - eines Mannes, der mit Mut, Weitblick und Leidenschaft die politische Landschaft Österreichs geprägt hat.
Er war ein Politiker, der viele Dinge früh erkannt hat - Missstände, die andere verschwiegen oder nicht sehen wollten. Er hat sich kein Blatt vor den Mund genommen, sondern ausgesprochen, was viele dachten. Und genau das machte ihn zu einer Stimme, die weit über seine Zeit hinaus nachhallt.
Jörg Haider war jemand, der sich nicht vom Mainstream treiben ließ, sondern selbst eine klare Richtung vorgab. Einer, der nah bei den Menschen war, der Klartext sprach und der wusste, dass Heimat, Freiheit und Gerechtigkeit keine leeren Worte sind, sondern Werte, für die es sich zu kämpfen lohnt.
Auch wenn er viel zu früh von uns gegangen ist, lebt sein Vermächtnis weiter - in all jenen, die den Mut haben, gegen ein ungerechtes System anzukämpfen, die nicht einknicken, und die Österreich an erste Stelle setzen.

When it was over, residents found maps and door stickers showing who lived where. They are literally marking homes the same way the Nazis did.
