My honest expectation post Beamer era has been to be an 8+ win team and sometimes sneak into the ACC championship as the 2nd team (maybe once every 4 years or so?).

I'm not looking for a coach to dominate the conference, just to win the expected games. And until this year, that was Franklin.

Hearing James Franklin being thrown around as a candidate for VTs next coach and the only thing that I'd really have to say against it is having a 3rd coach in a row who doesn't know how a 2 minute drill works.

Probably a better coach than who we'll end up getting.
