As Survey 73-Sigma delves into the #Necromunda Underhive, they are accompanied by a variety of Tech-Guard. Not all of which are full Skitarii, some are basic units, almost reminiscent of Techno-Barbarians of old Earth.

Quick step by step for how I did this:
-paint patches and lines of a black-brown
-highlight the edges of those patches and go over them with a very thinned down brown for subtle rust
-edge highlight inconsistently and also add smaller scratches with the same brighter paints

Tech-Adept B4LDR1C8 is now painted and his #Necromunda rules are sorted (part of our Mechanicus custom rules). This is a hanger-on, so won't actually appear in games much, but his idiocy is likely to have some impact.

We have some slightly different rules for medical escort with Mechanicus, so hadn't factored in rogue docs. But that's probably a good call, so I might need to look at how that could work. 😀

Servitors only have 1 action unless a direct line can be drawn to a Tech-Priest, or a priest controls them with a noospheric link. This repeatedly forced choices about positioning or when to activate priests and the link. Very fun and atmospheric.

Had the first 2 #Necromunda campaign games this week. Both were 3 player madness with Mechanicus, a Malstrain infected Van Saar gang and Corpse Grinders. Our Mechanicus rules are working a treat, very thematic and opponents enjoyed. It was great our rules for Servitor control actually mattered 😀

Work in progress. Necromunda… Tech-Guard Delta Rho 9. He does not have many bionics yet. He has to earn the blessing of the machine god and bring worthy of upgrade to Skitarii.

Need to do a bit more with his “Transonic Glaive”, as I think it needs a little something for the power system.
