Insider trading is at its WORST in elected offices. The fact the president has made over $3 BILLION in crypto trading while Americans are about to go hungry, millions have lost jobs, and our farmers are losing out on revenue every day is DISGUSTING.

I’d be willing to adopt a family or two.

The other thing folks can do is donate to their local food pantry, volunteer time there, and also be sure to donate higher value foods like butter, other dairy, meat, fresh produce.

Healthcare shouldn’t be a luxury; it should be a right. We cannot live without proper healthcare but our current system prioritizes profits and CEO bonuses over affordability and quality of care.

This must change.

To be clear: I support Israel being a country. I also support a Palestinian state. Anti-semitism, terrorism, Islamophobia are unacceptable.

I’ve studied history, religion, have friends from Israel & Palestine, Jewish and Muslim. There’s room for all. Bombs are not the answer. Neither is terror.

At my core, I am progressive, but I am no idealist. I have a proven record of getting things done while being true to my values. Not caving when lives and rights are on the line. If elected, that is exactly what I will do: Get things done, but never compromise my values.

When I entered this race, I thought I should run as a moderate. Most Kentucky Democrats in power are. But when I reflected on that, I realized we need more progressive voices who are willing to stand up and speak out.
