It's how you get gems like "There were no female leads in games until Lara Croft came along", which was a real thing that was said in a BBC article.

It got clowned on hard at the other site, though most of the counterarguments are Samus from Metroid and some Ms. Pac-Man.

It also worth mentioning that there were already many games that starred female characters that don't get the limelight due to overseas obscurity or even erasure via localization.

Didn't help gaming (Esp. in NA) was a male-dominated environment and seen as a boys' thing.

The history of female leads in gaming is a messy topic.

Even in arcades, Ms. Pac-Man might've not been the first game with a female protagonist. In 1980 Shoei made the progressive masterpiece Streaking, a hack of a Pac-Man bootleg where a naked woman runs around being chased by cops.

YAY proper ref for Annabelle, my Zebstrika fursona

Annabelle, the Zebstrika! She's 170 cm/5'7" and weighs 90 kg/198 lbs.
Her moves are High Horsepower, Discharge, Electro Ball and Agility.
She's got a long, fluffy mane with pink accents, as well as quite a long tail for a Zebstrika. Her hooves are also larger than average. She is wearing a pink bracelet on her left hoof with a star on it and a matching collar.
Annabelle has a bold, wild, intimidating but very compassionate personality and she's fluffy af (petting allowed)

Troubleshooting my laptop's Wi-Fi made me want to die.

Had issues with Wi-Fi before it just stopped working. Tried manually updating the network adapter & Network Reset, no luck. /flushdns + Network Reset, didn't see any change at first... now Wi-Fi's back like nothing happened.
