Or you could use #zinc based batteries with the energy of LFP but built in an adapted lead-acid or NiCad factory. Oh they don’t emit toxic gas, don’t catch fire and can be recycled.

We were thrilled to host Matthew Moy, our first intern, at #Enzinc Manf Tech Center. When he joined in 2020 the anodes were 1cm & made in the tube furnace on the table. Now, commercial-size 16cm is made in the production furnace behind us. He is working on his PhD at #MIT & we are very proud of him.

We agree: Zinc #batteries are safe. Breakthroughs, e.g. the US Naval Research Laboratory one we have rights to, are coming to market. We just closed our Series A to get to production - highest energy density of Zn. Bonus: make in repurposed lead acid factories and 3X their output.
