“I—" her voice cracks on the word, and she clears her throat. Her cheeks burn with embarrassment. She can't do this. She feels like some patron at Sharess's Caress, paying for a paper-thin fantasy.

But with him staring at her like that, maybe there's something to those parchment fantasies.

But knowing when I'm just in my feels because brain chemistry is a mess is hard.

But the whole reason I'm posting this is just bc if you're having art doubts, there are a million possibilities & your skill is only one of them.

It's more likely your brain is being an asshole. In a number of ways.

One thing that the "art perception art skill variation" graph doesn't take into account is neurodivergence.

Bipolar is such a big factor in my art feels. Being self-aware of how those things interact has been instrumental.

Sometimes it's not the graph.

It's just brain chemistry, & that's ok.
