My elderly neighbour here in Chicago lives alone and has been trying to downsize. She used to call her records her “treasures”, but lately they’ve become a bother. Vendors (not as ethical as @brighterdayvinyl.bsky.social) cherry-picked the best, and she’s down to about 150 classical LPs.

A Sunday in Wicker Park, #Chicago. Farmers Market, big ol’ lunch, a matinee show and some intriguing grandma poster action in a sports bar.

One more week of leave before back to London…

That’s probably the only bit of overwriting tbh! She really tried to do some straight up pop songs this time. If you liked those three, you’ll probably find much to enjoy overall. It’s not a bad album by any stretch- more hooks needed though!
