i’ve been watching through Babylon 5 lately and it’s been great. i’m constantly pleased with how far it will go in ways many other sci-fi shows didn’t really have the courage to do up to this era.

a lot of themes in this show are very relevant to current events…

I think it smart to shift into a very sci-fi and clearly fantastical world build. super hero movies have tried too hard for years to be “realistic” or “gritty” to increase buying. I think just letting go and going with this being a “comic book” world does wonders.
