It's my turn.
The DM asks what I want to do.
I point to an object on the map.
"What's this?"
"That's a pot of soup."
"I want to throw the soup."
I roll a 1.
DM "roll me a constitution check."
I roll 19.
DM "because of your experience as a connoisseur of soup pots, you narrowly avoid getting burned."

...but not all of them.

Consequently, IDK what Kaya's collar is, and you don't know, either, unless you were able to hold remote and receiver in your hands and examine them, and at this point, for a case where I feel good saying a dog WASN'T shocked, I kinda feel like a creep doing this.
emexdizzy.bsky.social
Also, Kaya's collar features some little holes in the corners that seem to be intended in the event you want attatch stuff to the receiver case. This exists on at least one version of the PG-300's case (www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-6o...) ....
Up close screengrab of Hasan holding Kaya's collar Same screengrab as the prior image, but the holes are circled. Screengrab from the video in this post Zoom-in on that screengrab where the hole is circled

...as does the PG. Here's an older version of the PG-300 where you can see that it's PG-300 due to the serial #, but it has an entirely different remote to the red round shape of the current version of the model for sale on E-Collar Technology's website: www.reddit.com/r/OpenDogTra...
A post from 1 year ago on r/OpenDogTraining showing the PG-300 owned by u/corn_dog_ate_the_cob. The transmitter/remote is black and oblong. Screengrab from E-Collar Technologies website that shows how the Educator PG-300 currently looks. The transmitter/remote is red and circular.

Kaya's collar shares details of multiple different cases, PG and Mini alike, which makes sense. Products vary slightly over the years as the manufacturer tweaks things. Having freeze framed through multiple videos + looked at listings, you can see the Educator Mini often varies...
One photo of the ET-300 with its box, showing a black remote with the collar and receiver being sent separately. The case design for the back of the receiver differs slightly from the latter image. Another photo of the ET-300 with it's box, where the remote is yellow and the collar and receiver are assembled. The case design for the back of the receiver differs slightly from the former image. Zoomed in version of the back of the case on both images of the Educator Mini placed side-by-side

If anyone cares, here's the best side-by-side I can manage showing the profile of an Educator PG-300 (which lacks shock function), the Educator Mini listing on Chewy listing (shock model D's subreddit alleged), and Kaya's Educator.

The longer I look, the less I'm able to tell you which Kaya's is.
An unboxing image from the seller's web listing for the Educator PG-300, a pager-only model that lacks shock capabilities A white background listing image of the Educator ET-300 Mini, which has shock capabilities. A screenshot of Hasan holding Kaya's collar, which has been rotated counterclockwise by 90 degrees to align with the orientation of the other two images.

Nevermind, there's a mini that comes in red, because of course there is, because manufacturing details can change year to year by batch.

I mean, I can believe that they're that stupid, but the stupidity frustrates me. Dogs need activity, but they also love to snooze. Adult dogs are zonked out like half the length of a 24 hour day. It's why I have so many pix of my *husky mix* sleeping.
Mossy napping on a chair with her back feet tucked forward towards her nose and her front feet between them extended towards her butt Mossy lounging like a leopard on a branch over a bolster of a sectional sofa beside a pile of paper she shredded Mossy on my bed, stretching mid-nap Mossy flopped on my bed amidst a bunch of her shed fur as she does puppy posture to plead with me not to kick her off.
emexdizzy.bsky.social
...they're right that Hasan has a shock-capable Educator model, hell, even if he shocked Kaya (and I don't think he did) they STILL wouldn't be fit to talk, because the problem with abuse isn't an abuser ruining their "image" it's the abuse itself. Dogs deserve better than being spoken of this way.
emexdizzy.bsky.social
The focus on "destroyed his image" really irritates me. This schmuck acts like a dog isn't a living thing that needs competent care and handling, but a status symbol, an object, and if you can't understand things outside of that framework, you're not going to be able to comment on this. Even if...

Depends on how many you can nom before you risk getting tummy freeze. I can do three of the skinny Outshine ones before that.
emexdizzy.bsky.social
I am unfamiliar with who/what "Atozy" is, so you'd be so kind, may I trouble you for a clarification?
emexdizzy.bsky.social
"What are these?" I ask.
"That looks like a mirror and an amulet."
"I eat them."
"You EAT them?"
"The bird druid has no pockets! They already swallowed an entire bag of gold."
DM, wearily "Roll me a constitution save..."

I was reading some of it, and yeah, that part was quite neat. Fantasy mobility devices are usually better when you let the wheelchair users write them, because we're constantly thinking about that stuff.
emexdizzy.bsky.social
Update update, E-Collar Technologies makes a pager-only version, this means Hasan is potentially 100% truthfully about Kaya's collar having only a vibration function. bsky.app/profile/emex...
emexdizzy.bsky.social
Nevermind, I care about diligence, and I heard that E-Collar Technologies makes a version of the Educator that's vibro-only, and I can confirm that. What Kaya is wearing is clearly an Educator, but looking at just the collar leaves the model unclear. www.educatorcollars.com/pg-300-pager...
emexdizzy.bsky.social
...why I hate this fucking controversy so much. The broad clamor is not about Kaya's wellbeing or advancing knowledge that shock collars do harm, it's about attacking Hasan individually with the least amount of charitability possible and people aren't willing to change opinions based on evidence.
emexdizzy.bsky.social
...and it is the Educator PG-300, that would fully eliminate any leeriness I feel towards his truthfulness. Also, I should have dug into E-Collar Technologies deeper before, I didn't dig enough to see that they had a pager-only model, that is entirely an oversight on my part. This is, again...
emexdizzy.bsky.social
As a reminder, no matter WHAT version of the Educator Kaya wears, I still DO NOT believe Hasan shocked her, this is now purely a matter of transparency/accuracy and also broader education. I'm still not happy about him justifying shock collars, but if he has been fully honest about the model...
emexdizzy.bsky.social
The one sure fire way to know which version of the Educator Kaya has would be if Hasan showed the remote. This vid doesn't show the remote, so if anyone has of him showing the remote at another, I'd appreciate that. If it's red, it's the PG-300, and that's that. youtu.be/XZU2qy3CRk0?...
Someone lied to you.

found exactly the one use of “evil recoils in the presence of Christ” I am willing to sign off on, HOOOOOOOOLY SHIT

Father Larry did not come here to fuck around

Chicago priest Fr. Larry Dowling describes procession to ICE facility: “No one had the courage to speak directly to us. No one from Homeland Security could stand in the presence of the Monstrance holding the Blessed Sacrament. No wonder. Evil is repelled, recoils in the presence of Christ.”

This might hold true for RPGs where you pick your own player character or generic NPCs, but there's a general dearth of chubby girls in opportunities where you're not doing that.

The inflatable frog suit is oppressing me, I must rage against the air blower machine.

...you tend to get really GOOD representation for example, Sun Spider in both the comics and the Spider-Verse film, her hyper-mobility, crutches and wheelchair are incorporated into her character in a believable way, I just get frustrated when it's sloppy and ignorant.
