Opinion: More than any other western European country, France is dominated by powerful billionaires paying relatively low taxes. Most voters agree that France should cut its deficit, and the majority says: the super-rich first. on.ft.com/4hedHHZ

so funny thing : if you say that kind of thing in france, you'll be considered a dangerous leftist.

Oh yeah, “USA = America = Repuplicans” have been the main axis of their propaganda for years.
At some point, when more than half the country “hates the country”, is it really the country they hate?
@secondlina.com I’m not expecting a repost or anything, I just saw your last comic and realised you might like to see those cute crows I shot last week! (no autumn colours yet though)

#Photographie #SonyAlpha #Affinity #Nature
I had never realised a single person was responsible for all these posters. I just assumed that was a style shared by many poster artists in the industry.

My mind is blown.

There is no end to the stupidity of people pretending they are being excluded for wanting to exclude everyone else.
Damn, VS Code used to have such cool updates, with new options, new cool integrations, more customisability, performances improvements…

Now each month’s update is a depressing sludge of AI-related features and UI elements that I promptly disable and/or hide.
Your favourite code editor has been updated! Here are the new exciting features we’ve been up to:

- AI stuff
- AI chat
- Do this thing, now with AI
- MCP features (it’s AI stuff)
- Better OS integration (we’ll use it for AI stuff)
- …
- Some boring, non-AI stuff, who cares

#dev
I should note that it does not need to be AI or robots to be automated, as long as it’s working autonomously and obediently without ever needing to care for it.

Obedient workers manipulated by hatred generated by bots is a form of automation.
Money has been automated.
Art has been automated.
Workers are being automated.
Science will be automated.

The ideal future of billionaires is a planet-wide automated system of fields, factories and entertainment networks ending in their stomach, looking at their smartphone.
“If we go all-in on AI, we will get a tool that will replace all the people who’ll die”

“Ecological collapse is coming, I will build myself a bunker and keep staff loyal by hoarding the food, or something”

“Fascists are in power now! That’s neat, more funding to reach our goals!”
Every move billionaires make is logical if you consider that they feel some real huge collapse is coming and want to push technological progress and their bank account as far as possible so that they can emerge alive, still rich, to rebuild a world fully designed around catering to their needs.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: billionaires want an utopia that’s actually a pyramid at the tip of which live a few select people who survived the cataclysmic automation of the rest of the pyramid.

A green, utopian bubble where all your needs are met, built upon a wasteland of death.

When he says your job isn't a real job, he's saying you don't deserve to get paid. He is saying they don't need you "bullshit job" workers anymore. The ai revolution these monsters want is not the one that frees humanity from labour, but one that frees capital owners from having to pay for labour.

Guys, Sam Altman owns OpenAI. He knows what a bullshit job is. He knows what bullshit work is. He is profits handsomely off of bullshit. What he's actually talking about is, (and this is almost always true of these billionaire freaks) is eugenics. He is talking about who is disposable.
Ouuuh, in PMMA no less! That looks good 👀
Non, c’est pas baseline encore :/

How well do you know JavaScript's Date class?
