This is incredibly sad. With SACNAS literally two weeks away, local individuals who aren't presenting have been told that the institution will not cover their conference attendance.

Just had a fantastic conversation with Dr. Mahadeo Sukhai and only managed to cover the first section of questions in 3 hours! We have now scheduled another session next week where I can finally ask him all my questions on DEI. Learning about being a low vision scientist was fascinating!

I have discovered the podcast @tpwky which is so informative and I'm loving it. I especially love the parts where they laugh about something. Crumbs, I have just been reviewing this years candidates for the Board of Directors of the National Postdoctoral Association. What an impressive roster of applicants. I have to say that I loved the videos from each which allowed an extremely personal look into their reasons for applying.
