Does he mean they would get access to assisted dying FOR their autism or learning difficulties, or does he mean that their autism or learning difficulties would not *prevent* them from accessing assisted dying in the face of terminal illness?

Casting a guy with a very normal voice and a weird face to play a weird-faced elf character in voice only is a specifically Harry Potter bit of non-logic previously used (decades ago now) to cast MC’s friend Toby Jones as Dobby in the films.

Yes. He’s made a body of work all about outsiders and odd people finding joy in their otherness and loving their best lives. I think that work brought comfort to lots of misfits. He’s the biggest kick in the teeth for me. SIDEBAR:

I’m certain Amazon must be offering disproportionately big sums to get these people on for an audiobook, especially given the friends and agents surely giving them reputational advice against doing the gig. But most of these are not people who are often out of work. They are in a position to say no.

Tregard came to our school as a storyteller once. Also my 12-year-old friends and I once emailed Lord Fear himself, Mark Knight, who was by then trying to live a quiet life in America. He was very nice and indulged our questions.
