Yeah… the IDF are apostate to human decency.
Green men. We already have those.
Agreed. Ireland won’t be invaded. So it wouldn’t happen anyway.
Green keffiyeh and all for Paddy’s Day.
In various hues and various ways, are all Irish, we are all Palestinian, we are all Paddystinians! Wherever a people have suffered at the hands of colonisers we are one.

One struggle, one fight. Happy St. Paddystinians Day.

From Ireland to Gaza, globalise the intifada. 🇮🇪🇵🇸☘️

Today is as much a day for our Palestinian brothers and sisters to celebrate their Irishness, and by that I mean, our shared history and our defiance in the face of oppression than it is for us.
We answered unequivocally: where there is suffering, where there is subjugation, where there is colonial oppression, where there is resistance; in our thousands, in our millions, we are all Palestinians.
Israeli racists thought they were insulting the Irish by likening us to Palestinians, but in referring to us as “Paddystinians,” we merely took it as a compliment to our shared humanity, our shared struggle, and our geographically separate but connected history.
As we celebrate our culture and heritage today, we are reminded of another culture and heritage that is just as ancient, just as nuanced, and just as historically persecuted.

Slightly surprised by some of the takes on Taoiseach’s Oval Office performance.

I’d say: President Trump ran roughshod over Ireland’s economic model, the EU, any concern about Gaza and Micheál Martin for most of the 50 minutes kind of just nodded along to it.

Don’t envy him having to get thru it

You'd be forgiven for thinking that Drivetime was govt comms this afternoon. Cormac Ó hEadhra seemed a little exasperated trying to push back on the "this was a good day" consensus. But if a good day is not being forced to sign away half your resources with a gun to your head, then maybe it was...
One of my favourite photos. I can’t remember fully but I think this was in winter.
As a kid, I was told of the Robin’s bravery how it stood up to bigger birds like crows. Whether true or not, it was an allegory of defiance against the cruel and powerful. It stayed with me my whole life and each time I see a Robin, I think of the small and weak standing up, David & Goliath.
Happy weekend friends and family. ❤️
We like to have fun here.

Very important! Dominic Carroll of Action Against War outlines the importance of Irish neutrality, and what protections we have in place to protect it.

In the midst of the devastation, Palestinians in Rafah, located in southern Gaza, came together to hold a community-wide iftar during Ramadan.
