Greenpeace is threatening to sue the Crown Estate for driving up the cost of offshore wind and thus our bills.

@walesgreenparty.bsky.social stands in solidarity with them and demands that the Crown Estate is immediately devolved to Wales so that it’s profits benefit our communities not a king!✊💚
I’m going to share this again in light of the UK Government’s announcement that they will be introducing a mandatory reading test in Year 8.
My little girl (8) is reading now. Words pouring from her like water. Books seized from shelves in excitement. Vocabulary and sentence structures gathered like precious flowers in bloom. It’s okay if your child isn’t a fluent reader early on. Not all brains are built that way. We can give them time.
One of my favourite walks in the Autumn. Love your painting too!
I think this is really sensible honestly. I’d want to be sure it didn’t unfairly penalise disabled people, but other than that I think this is policy moving in the right direction.

Centuries of beekeeping shaped the honeybee we know, writes Dr Arrigo Moro.

But its wild relatives, living free from hives, are quietly disappearing.

A new Red List assessment calls them endangered. Here are the findings. ⤵️

watching the UKs green party elect an actual unafraid leftist into leadership and see party membership double in under a month is once again endless proof that if you stand up for leftist causes and treat the electorate like adults, you’ll win people over easily

Come on Caerphilly , be angry about the NHS, two child benefit cap and high energy bills. These are the things that are impacting on your lives right now.
Vote for Gareth Hughes @greenparty.org.uk for a better way. A wealth tax so those who have most carry the burden. That’s the Green way . 💚

It’s official: the Slender-billed Curlew is extinct.

Once a graceful migrant across continents, officially declared extinct by the IUCN.

Some strong feelings out there I guess. She is sad now.

Remember, whenever you hear that “speed wasn’t a factor” in a deadly crash, what they mean is that the car involved wasn’t technically speeding. At least “not by much.” It presumes that the speed limit wasn’t too high to begin with.

When it comes to death from collisions, SPEED IS ALWAYS a factor.

Glad to see Nigel Farage has finally remembered Nathan Gill, former leader of Reform in Wales - found guilty of taking bribes from Russia.

Maybe he'll now remember how much he took from Putin's propaganda broadcaster Russia Today for all his TV appearances when he was a MEP?
