Ein aus Deutschland stammender Angehöriger der israelischen Armee (IDF) soll an gezielten Tötungen unbewaffneter palästinensischer Zivilist*innen beteiligt gewesen sein. Gegen den Tatverdächtigen haben wir eine Strafanazeige bei der Bundesanwaltschaft eingereicht.

Unter Ausschluss der Öffentlichkeit befasste sich der Rechtsausschuss des Bundestages mit dem #GazaSniper. Bislang hat die Bundesanwaltschaft kein Ermittlungsverfahren eingeleitet. Italy and Libya plan to renew a Memorandum of Understanding first signed in 2017 which provides EU funding and FRONTEX coordination to train, finance and equip Libyan forces responsible for detention, torture and enslavement of people captured at sea. We say NO to the Italy-Libya Memorandum!

Accused of committing and overseeing murder, torture, rape and other forms of sexualized violence, an arrest warrant for Almasri was issued by the ICC. After Almasri entered the EU, Italian police arrested him yet he was soon released and rushed back to Libya on a state-owned plane.

The applicant was captured by the so-called Libyan Coast Guard, which receives funding, equipment and training from the EU and Italy, while crossing the Central Mediterranean. He was detained at sites controlled by Almasri and subjected to forced labor and torture. He escaped and now lives in Italy.

A torture survivor takes Italy to @echr.coe.int for its failure to cooperate in the investigation by the #ICC of the Libyan official, #Almasri, wanted for crimes against humanity. He was in charge of a Libyan detention center where the applicant was detained.

Der jüngste ECCHR-Bericht "The Pretense of Justice" belegt, dass das israelische Rechtssystem seit Jahrzehnten von Straflosigkeit geprägt ist. Israels Verweis auf das eigene Justizsystem, um internationale Haftbefehle gegen politische und militärische Verantwortliche abzuwehren, ist nicht haltbar.

Nach dem Waffenstillstand spurlos verschwunden: die berüchtigte "Gaza Health Foundation" (GHF). Geräte, Vorräte, Milizionäre – alles weg. Rund 2.500 Palästinenser starben nahe diesen sogenannten "Hilfsstationen", die in Wahrheit blutige Todesfallen waren. Ein Fall für Den Haag.
