execution ofc varies, to me, I thought the ending was solid with how Ruthye learns that killing the guy who killed her dad wouldn't fix anything, but that it doesn't mean she should forgive him, hence why she wacked him with a cane

As I said, King's got a huge reader base in the casuals, personally I'm okay with wordy books, so I didn't mind the narration, the main draw is that it's a character study of Kara from Ruthye's pov, how it's a deconstruction of the epic quest with it all being about Ruthye learning revenge is bad

It is very accessible, the artwork by Evely is incredible, it's just True Grit in space, but it works to highlight the major difference between her and her cousin with how she lived through Krypton's destruction. Its the thing with King that he's very popular with casual and old readers

Sure, seeing Peter in space is neat, but everything with Norman being Spider-Man feels like a watered down version of Gold Goblin with none of the complexities that it introduced with how Norman's "redemption" was meant to be a punishment for him

As much as Kindred was a pain in the ass, in comparison to Hellgate, Kindred did serve a more interesting role as representing the inherent flaws with post OMD Spider-Man and the desire to continue Peter's torment, whereas Hellgate's just a big bad for Peter to fight and overcome

It so is, because Kelly's ASM is just BND with a Spencer recolor of back to basics without any of the strive to actually progress Peter in a natural way, Spencer actively chose to focus on Peter's life instead of just doubling down on Spider-Man and how much misery it gives him

I'm predicting it might just be a suit Peter wears, using some of Otto's tech, I know about how the WIP show him in his regular suit, but I can't see it being Otto, because he's very much not the kind of character who'd spring into action
