"We can't delete your author profile or customers won't be able to find your books," says the Amazon rep I told I have no books through them and the two they have up shouldn't be there and aren't paying me.

He said they were added off-site but no, no they were not and I am filled with impotent rage

Farming bounties is very boring, though finding little mushrooms who give you paintings is cute. Until you see they're blueprints and you have to grind more to make them.

A pale person with an exposed spine and nails driven through the gaps in their vertebrae. The skin of their chest is flayed away to reveal their ribcage. They are bald and wear headgear thay screws into both their temples and looks a bit like a halo. They wear dark clothing - a corset, flared pants, chunky boots and a leather apron. In two poses they are crouching, in one they stand bent at the waist, there is one portrait to show the skin flayed away from their mouth, and in one pose they clutch at their own back and headgear.

Oh hey I get to talk about Parnamyr from #WealdandWen again, this is terrible for his ego. But he is the creepiest. Capturing and 'playing' with living, thinking things he sometimes traps in his walls. Here is a snip of what I think is his least creepy, but I'm told it is unsettling.

Far below the blue brume, hidden a door or two beyond his sitting room, Parnamyr’s connection to his treats snapped away. Yet the Nectar’s threat bounced and tickled about in his skull, clanking from his throat in a booming cackle.
Pulling from his wall, he savored the resounding tap of his treat’s roots scrambling for higher ground and, as the sound faded, eyed the sinewy body of another Napyr. One tasted too many ages past, and not near as sweet as the Nectar he craved.
“Believes himself sheltered by distance,” He told the tortured face preserved so perfectly, tracing its grooves with a needletip as he purred to it, “and how did those lofty aspirations end for you, my clever morsel?” Leaning to explore the smoothed interior of an engraved mouth with the tip of his tongue, Parnamyr lapped up the tingling delight of captured fear and shivered, cooing, “oh, yes, deliciously.”

He less tires of it and more worries he'll move on to the bigger target when those directly to blame are dealt with. That his husband will never know peace. So he tries to keep him from it for a while but acquiesces when assured it won't escalate. Which it doesn't, but the grudge is kept.

We don't belong here

When the first creature traded fins for feet and chose land the ocean took it personally. She tries to prove this to us often and without mercy but we're a species of idiots.
We don't belong here. We used to but we abandoned her and she remembers. Not all of her surely but the deep does. The dark, the cold, the unfathomable remembers how full it once were, teemin' with life and wonder.
How empty when half it up and scarpered.
You're thinkin' this means she's angry, seekin' vengeance on those what did her wrong. But no. She wants us back. Wants to keep us safe down where all her ice gets warm again... and she's got all manner a lures to beg us to her.
With sweet breeze and swellin' waves she beckons.
With mysteries beneath her shimmerin' wake she tantalizes.
There's food here, she sings, shiny treasures too.
So quickly we rush to her waters we never stop to wonder how them trinkets got there. Or why delicious meaty treats keep to predictable paths.
Most the earth be ocean, with much unsounded, but no matter how deep, how quiet what calls... we can't ignore her song.
We don't belong here but she wants us, and she'll have us.
Every one.
