That reminds me of those full size diesels that were built for Brazil and were completely identical to the US mainline ones except they rode on narrow gauge 8 wheel trucks… I have a picture of one of them somewhere.
Trix (HO) and Accucraft (1:5) deserve all the credit! They are a left over of a time when my main modeling tool was my checkbook…
Here’s a big HO locomotive on the running board of a small 1:5 scale locomotive.
They have to be some of the most powerful narrow gauge diesels, right?
To be fair, I haven’t used it in 30 years! I did make a half hearted attempt at installing it in a VM a few months ago. It would start booting and the n get stuck at li.
Speaking of antique Linux, this is the actual CD I used to set up my first Linux computer (a 386SX).

I got the distinct impression that no one at Tesla knew how to fix these early cars. Maybe a dedicated independent mechanic could have fixed it, but unless they were an ex-Tesla employee, there would be no way for them to know how and have access to the right diagnostic equipment.
I owned an early Model S (VIN less than 6000) and after 10 years, it developed a problem with its air suspension. Despite multiple attempt at repairs by a "senior technician" that had to come to the repair center, Tesla could never fix it. I ended up selling it to CarMax at a rock bottom price.
Are services like this one being rolled into loan payments? If so, some owners might not notice...
You're not a proper rower unless you have your own private indoor lake...
If you watch a sunset while seating on the ground and the stand up, you get to watch it again.
Didn’t the first prototype of the Bugatti Veyron use an 18 cylinder engine?
I wonder if the prism is a level indicator. It looks like there are bubble levels inside of it.
If I allow replies only from people I follow or follow me, could such a post be still picked up by the discover tab algorithm? Not that there’s any risk of one of obscure posts being picked up on the first place…
