It's basically set up so every "instance" is ran and moderated by a different owner, but they all communicate and can see each others' posts, unless the owner blocks an instance which does happen, some may have too lax rules or just be a bad instance.
tbh it kinda feels empty but better than nothing

once upon a time there was a sexy lamia. there was also a sexy human! this human didn't like being sexy, though. they never consented to it, yet it kept happening! the lamia started to fuck them. it's unclear if the human consented to that or not, though, i got distracted by how sexy they were.

In some stories I'm reluctant to name a character, especially when they're a one-shot character I have no intention of returning to.
I've just realized I could use this. If I don't want to name a character for whatever reason I can just give only an initial.
So the next story I write will star C—!

A lot of stories from a century or two ago had characters whose names were just a single letter followed by a dash, like Mr. B— or Ms. L—, to indicate the full name was removed. This was typically done to make it seem like the names were removed for a matter of privacy.

When the noble peacey prize recipient was announced the first thing I did was look her up. I'm not heavily familiar with Venezuelan politics but this tracks with what I read.
Most responses I saw boiled down to "lol trump mad, i like this person i've never heard of now"

What mitigation of mental health issues? That's still happening! The research shows that's basically WHAT HAPPENS when you use generative algorithm chatbots!
Porn addiction isn't real, but from everything we've seen about these chatbots this'll still fuck people up (and not in a good way)

Oh good, ChatGPT is getting "erotica for verified adults" later this year

We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.

personally i think leaking a media megacorp's plans for the next 5 years is a good thing. leak more stuff. leak everything. definitely leak whatever shady shit they're up to, too.
then dismantle the company, put its ips in public domain, and give the remaining money it had to every basic employee.
