it's even funnier because if i understand this correctly he was pitching obama on just this project. he offered to build obama a ballroom but they stuff armed him. he's been pining for a ballroom since at least the last financial crisis. he loves ballrooms

A very large, very white and gold ballroom with Baroque-style arched windows, coved ceilings, and gold chandeliers obviously meant to invoke comparisons to Versailles. Completely inappropriate to the architectural style of the White House.

It just feels like Playtonic played Mario Odyssey and tried making their Banjo-like mesh into that format with a ton of issues along the way
There's a lot of other stuff that's disappointed me with Replaylee as well, like the entire OST not being orchestral despite the 10 year old stretch goal

There's so much more optimal design in Laylee that was just up and dropped in Replaylee

They completely butchered the overall progression with all moves being unlocked and all worlds being expanded from the start. Not helped with the padding and filler pagies...
