Yes that is definitely the case...and I personally know of a number of tradesmen who come over from Holyhead for a building contract and head back home when the job is done.

How would they appear on the government statistics - presumably "economically innactive"?

Fair enough - but I do think that if they get discussion started on the inequities of the existing class hierarchy and what it is doing to the country...and which we are currently (wrongly) blaming immigrants for.

I'd say the opposite - I think that this would cleave young people away from the right wing and guarantee coverage (albeit spittle flecked rage) from the red top press.

The popularity of the monarchy (and the union) tails off a lot by younger age group.

In truth, he never really enjoyed night work.

Also - sorry to wang on about this one thread but - I do think that the reason that some retired people voted for Brexit is that they believed that it would allow/force their adult kids to come home from overseas.
