My adult sons and I are planning on going through all of our pantry food this week and dropping off all in date findable items to our two local food banks and dropping some off into Little Free Libraries in neighborhoods.

The Republican house members from my state have been all over Facebook blaming all of this on Chuck Schumer. 🤪 I am no fan of Schumer, but he is not the one responsible for all of this.

It’s a very high elevation very large valley which is the bowl of slumbering super volcano. It has pristine mountain streams, meadow interspersed with evergreen strands, and so much wildlife. Every time I have gone there I have seen massive herds of elk.

I love New Mexico, but no getting around that there is a lot of poverty there. That fuels the crime rates, as it also does with all of the red states in the list.

One thing that is good in my state is that people can use their Bridge cards at local municipal farmers markets, which usually have fresh produce at a better price than grocery stores. But the people need to be able to get to the market…
