For the eraser problem, you can use a Kneeded Eraser since they dont leave shavings. They do get pretty dirty after a while though yet still somehow erase much clearer than most other eraser types in my experience and last prety long.

I decided to combine this prompt with my recent Machine Angel obsession and made a non-canon Angel form for Lott. Slightly inspired by/refrencing the brutal practice of Shark Fin soup by replacing his fins with ethearl wings.

The important thing is to just be aware of the choices we make and why they matter/make sense to us.

There's no real right or wrong way to go about it. Some artists will study the fundamentals for years and never quite get it while others will just keep brute forcing it until things gradually click/change over time according to their needs.
