The protest stories from my parents’ retirement communities are amazing. Budgets for sign making committee, transportation sign ups, walker brigade v mobility carts fracas. Fired up seniors are something to behold.

Good day in Sullivan Co NY. Over 500-1,000 turned out in the capital, Monticello, population 7,000, a place that depends heavily on immigrant workers in the stores, the fields, the factories and in our neighborhoods. No ICE abductions. No Kings! #no

This is so, so important: these smaller-in-size regional protests. It's not just big cities! It's people in small towns, too.
