Did not see Noem narrating fantasy tales in Tampa or LaGuardia either. Tampa apparently only because they don't have the media capabilities to pull it off.

Interested once we see the Pro and Max level core options on these. Again, no interest in local compute for AI whatsoever, but significantly faster floating point will help Pixinsight.

Nah. I have an M1 iPad Pro that is overpowered for its use. Let me run full MacOS on it and I may get tempted, but I don't see myself buying a new iPad in a hurry. Also, I don't want local endpoint AI compute on anything, thanks.

I beleive that two have so far. There are some for whom these will be great references within their current organisation. Which is to say that elected Republican representatives are also included.

What the fuck are you trying to say, chucklefuck? Did a fancy AI write that big boy world salad for you? If it spits out words you don't understand at least get a fucking aide to check them for sanity, you bumbling moron.

Bessent:: hand over the kingdom or we'll withhold distribution of benefits from the taxes you paid.

We, the people: go fuck yourselves, and fuck your taxes.

Illustration of an asteroid repurposed as a space colony. The interior is a hollow cylinder. Illustration of the interior of a space colony called a Stanford torus Illustration of a rocket launching from Mars. Illustration of an orbital ring. It encircles the entire earth. Structures can be build on it, of hung from it (e.g. space elevators)

This is normalization, it's also grooming. Even from the short samples quoted, its simple to pick out actors who are guiding participants towards comfort with dehumanization and hatred. The party is endorsing genocide and rapidly moving towards it, confident that AI can backfill the dead. It can't.

Except that the car is assembled from metadata about every car part ever built, and lovingly assembled by statistical rules aimed more at user engagement than functional decision making. If your idea of flying a car is to rebuild it in flight repeatedly while it pulls stunts to amuse you, lucky you.

Actual republicanism is popular among nations with royal remains. We do like interesting bloodlines and fancy hats, garden parties and daintily cut sandwiches though.

The Wizard Nebula (Sharpless 142) in the constellation of Cepheus. This region of star formation is being energized primarily by a massive spectroscopic binary system called DH Cephei. The stars in this system are young, near the start of the main sequence and are a source of X-ray emissions. 🔭
A bright nebula of colorful gases, with a cluster of bright stars that are ionizing it. The primary star system ionizing the gases is a massive binary system named DH Cephei. Cold molecular pillars and bok globules are evident and indicative of star formation. This is the Wizard Nebula or Sharpless 142, 8500 light years distant in the constellation of Cepheus. Six hours of imaging, evenly split over SHO filters. 840mm, cropped.

I’ve just learned (from a post by Colin Edwin) that Imaginary Records’ Alan Duffy has died. Like Colin, I knew little of him. I always loved this lyric he wrote for the nascent Porcupine Tree.

The word he's looking for is summoning. I suspect he's considering an Outer God like Nyarlathotep.

Remarkably, they're making the solution more simple with every heist. Three or more orders of magnitude of QE will reduce all fortunes to inconsequential and the substantial fiscal ownership by the new government can provide greater equity. Money is just a promise, and they've abandoned the law.

That's the norm based on the legal system applying pressure against the corrupt actors for the most egregious cases. Not all cases are six months, not all are dropped and this is likely not the future state as we move further from rule of law.

US corporations are rife with fasicst thought to the point that it echoes through both parties. Once the authoritarian goal seemed doable, elements within the puported left moved to undermine their own party in order to realize the corporatist agenda.

Trump: "You have Canada. That's so great to have, in fact. The president called and he wanted to know if it's worth -- well he knew exactly what it is. He knew the importance. Where's Canada, by the way? Where are you? He knew the importance of this."
