We've gotten a few reports of the .Net Tutorial's WinGet Configuration failing. I'd absolutely love it if someone could help us find what's breaking. I haven't been able to reproduce this one.

In Super Mario 3D Land, the welcome screen that is displayed when starting the game for the first time appears to be much less enthusiastic about the game in the European version compared to the US version.

"Fresh", sealed copies of Super Mario RPG actually have a unique title screen. This screen is lost permanently on that cartridge after playing and saving just once, and can not be restored without tinkering with the cartridge or waiting decades for the save battery to run out.

Why? Because why not! Although this device is old, it is powerful enough to run modern Linux. Since the original Android firmware is no longer supported, it would be a good idea to breathe some fresh life into this device. I didn't realise how difficult it would be. This blog post summarises the steps I took over several months to get a partially functioning Fedora 32 up and running on this device.

This Tunic Link is kinda like a headmate that manifests upon getting the green tunic but more like an awakening that results in him somehow becoming one with the dragon, or something. Also you only get the green tunic when you get the Master Sword.

Last night I had a dream that Twilight Princess Link had a female dragon headmate that took over his body as a transformation when he's in mortal danger and Link in the tunic is a different Link from the one you start the game as.

While this may be obvious to some players, Cataquacks resemble Wiggler segments that have come to life. This is likely intentional due to them originating in Gelato Beach in Super Mario Sunshine, where the antagonist is a Wiggler.

Personally I don't like the red, it feels gross for some reason, and I like the blue/yellow/orange/darker red scheme better. I'd be fine with a lighter blue though, if it can't be as dark.

It's a good sign that the logo is the worst part of Audacity 4.0 to me, and user interface design overall seems to be nowhere near an issue I was worried it might be. The logo needs the waveforms and should be a different perspective so it's more left-right.

Just learned that if you use the Slim Pickins Jekyll theme, you can easily add a link to a certain page on your website on dropdown items on the navigation bar by specifying "url:" under the "title:" thing in "nav.yml". I'm going to do that, and I wrote about it here:

Use `url:` in navbar items with subpages to allow clicking on the main item to go to a page like on Weebly.

I just realized the Slim Pickins theme supports using the `url:` thing under `title:` for items with subcategories to set the link of the title item itself to go to somewhere rather than the homepage....

If you eat meat and you're pretty much limited to chicken and you need gluten-free stuff, Applegate Farms has gluten-free chicken tenders and both the chicken and the breading has a good texture and flavor. You can make it crispier with oil, too. It's a little expensive, though.

chicken (as shown in an old ad), but large things like that are why you'd want a large oven in the first place, so they waste space unless you wanted to do a full pan of microwave brownies.

I'm glad that we as a society have moved on from "giant, full-size microwave ovens" since they're less useful than regular ovens (or convection ovens, due to the option to turn the fan on or off) due to not being able to safely cook everything like...

By changing only a single byte in the code of Mario Paint, the music composer will not stop at the end of the song and instead continue to play the entire contents of the console's memory as music.

Two well-known voice clips from Super Mario Sunshine are Mario saying "Aren't I done yet?!" and "There's more?!" in an exasperated way, long presumed unused. However, there is actually a way to hear them in-game, as they have a chance to play when he enters a level at low health.
