The main problem is not the Police. The problem is Trump’s armed masked unhinged Federal ICE Agents. ICE has arrested more than 100 peaceful protesters since 9/27 (19 days) because Trump Militia is trying to incite them. (Portland Police arrested about 15 protesters in that time.)

There were 5 total arrests of protesters by Portland PD at Portland ICE in 3 months from 7/5-9/27. After Trump decided Portland was “war ravaged” and “needed” to be invaded there have been 100+ protester arrests by ICE Agents. DHS won’t give exact number “due to our operational tempo.”

Absolutely! Trump said as much in that bizarre social media and “Antifa” meeting. That he was going to use the same methods as he used on “the cartels.” Just label us all “terrorists” and eliminate us.

Sounds like it was a symbolic vote. US Congress needs to try and force Federal Agents to follow laws, but we know Republicans don’t want to contain ICE. If Dems ever have any power again, this needs to be addressed in our “Project 2029” equivalent.

It passed. But laws have “effective dates.” CA SB 627 takes effect 1/1/2026. They don’t all go into effect as soon as passed. Eg. Oregon passed a Campaign Finance Law, but it doesn’t go into effect until 2027. 🙄 They said to “give them time” to put it in place, but that’s clearly BS.

Most are not “kids.” Young Republican group is 18-40! One is a Chief of Staff for NY Assemblyman. Another a Vermont State Senator. And even when texting my closest friends, I would never use that language (N-word and R-word) or joke about gas chambers. These “kids” ARE THE BEST THE GOP HAS TO OFFER!

The only parts of the Constitution Trump follows is where it declares federal supremacy over states. So Congress needs to act to pass laws: against masks, requiring ID, requiring warrants, outlawing racial profiling, removing police immunity, limit Emergency Powers, strengthen Insurrection Act, etc.
