Every Dem running for Gov/Sen should put their campaign aside for a week and focus energy/attention on defeating Question 1. (Which just polled as a coin flip.)

The Young Republicans of New York appears to have been mostly a dine and dash club for grifter racists. At least three incidents of stiffing hospitality bills: "a former Donald Trump campaign staffer alleged the group owed $7,000 to Redneck Riviera, a bar and live music venue in Nashville"

Giunta resigned just before Politico reported that his group had not paid off a bill of more than $14,000 for a holiday party in December 2023 at the National Women’s Republican Club in Manhattan.

The Young Republicans’ previously unreported debt in Syracuse followed on the heels of the Manhattan party and a trip by Giunta and club leaders to Nashville last year when he was campaigning for a position to lead the Young Republicans on a national level.

Perhaps having been taught what it was intended to be, they are the most disillusioned that it doesn’t live up to the (unattainable) standard. Similar phenomenon happens with the economic discontent after swimming in an environment of aspirational advertisements for 40 years.

I’ve voted every election state local federal since I stood in line on campus trying to convince one jock roommate not to vote for Reagan and my stoner friend not vote for Anderson. Given how history played out, I feel vindicated in my belief in who Carter was.

Au contraire. We have a President that slurs people on line and is rewarded for it. Granted, he is not a serious person, but he was electable to very serious consequences. I’m not saying like the behavior, but it’s not disqualifying.
