Alright bluesky, since I know less than 100 people on here, here's a little secret magic I've been working on..
Have you played the blue prince? If not, you'd probably like it!
Immaculate off-season Stanley Tucci vibes.
I've been thinking a lot about time dilation this week. My kid is 11 and in just 5 more years they'll be old enough to drive. But to them, 5 years is literally half a lifetime.

It would be like asking if I was looking forward to something 20 years in the future. "Sure, I guess! See you then!" 🤷🏼
I'm just over here trying to keep the dream alive!
What if I put some magic here?
Here's my favorite bit of sleight of hand at the moment. 🤓
The one in Decatur? 🤓
This feels like a Half-Price Books.
Crabulations, it's Tuesday.
What if I posted some post-its?
Figuring out how to set each pin as opposed to just raking it open.
In the creative industry? Less and less likely..
This was a good one. The kid rewatches it almost annually as good kid's toons seem few and far between these days 😩
Currently reading a book called "How Minds Change" and I find it fascinating how the script to convince someone to examine their own beliefs has some parallels to the structure or presentation of some magic acts. It's impossible to sum up the book in one blurb, but the gist of it is as follows:
Alternatives:
Dr. Von Tapenstein
The Adherence
Strandall
John Stick
The neon graveyard is a fun way to kill a few hours. It's an outdoor museum of retired neon casino signs.
If other dads said they still asked that question, would you do it too?
Oh man, if you've never touched discworld it's a fun and funny world with lots of jumping in arcs depending on what you're in the mood for!
He's come a long, long way.
REACHER on Prime is the "Chronicles of the Intrepid" (@scalzi.com) of action TV shows. Immensely hard not to roll my eyes right out of my skull after every episode. I guess the joke's on me as I'm still gonna finish it. Stockholm Syndrome at this point?
a man says it 's getting suspicious in a prime video ad for reacher
Alt: Jack Reacher is suspicious
