I've been thinking a lot about time dilation this week. My kid is 11 and in just 5 more years they'll be old enough to drive. But to them, 5 years is literally half a lifetime.

It would be like asking if I was looking forward to something 20 years in the future. "Sure, I guess! See you then!" 🤷🏼

Currently reading a book called "How Minds Change" and I find it fascinating how the script to convince someone to examine their own beliefs has some parallels to the structure or presentation of some magic acts. It's impossible to sum up the book in one blurb, but the gist of it is as follows:
