Ended up being a rough few months, but I’m happy to report I’m settled, the permanent workshop is set up, and I can get back to doing leatherwork full time.

The one thing I wish I could articulate and share a little better is how much my current goals are more in art™️ vs the broader gigging stuff.

Joined a local photo meetup today and man, when the group is good it really hits 😁 I've been trying to expand my circles for a couple of months and it's invigorating to meet others on a good wavelength

It's the triangle 😅 all = expensive. Otherwise an original a7s might be the play? 5d3 with magic lantern can maybe push 2k. I'd still dig through the older offerings for diamonds.

Last year I picked up a 1dx2 for less than 1k... And that's what Neistat and McKinnon built their stuff on

If it's solely for video: I'd dig through black magic or old canon C series cameras. The canon C might still be 1080 though.

As for photo: canon 5d3 is prob the best price/performance you can get
