Marc Maron's final WTF episode with Barack Obama was important:

* far left's refusal to talk to people who don't check all their boxes
* far right's belief that you're a real American only if you're a white Christian
* there are so many things more important than money

I enjoyed Tron: Ares:

* Evan Peters as the tech bro with a regret or two
* NIN score
* Colorful, artistic visuals

Edit more ruthlessly, but keep the scene where Elizabeth Dillinger slaps her son.

I confess I hadn't heard of Tate McRae before last night, but my daughter is a fan. On our way to see Kathleen Madigan, we passed teens in short skirts outside Enterprise Center, where the Blues play. Ironically, the Blues were in Calgary, McRae's birthplace.

There are still several Canadian stadiums we haven't seen the Blues play in.

I love this movie, even when Stewart's character tells Novak's character that it can't possibly matter to her what color her hair is or what clothes she wears.

Morgan James' new album, Soul Remains the Same, includes soulful covers of classic songs from AC/DC, Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Living Colour, Soundgarden. I really enjoyed her cover of Better Man, too.

We saw Morgan James and her band perform at City Winery in St. Louis last night. Just amazing. She included R&B covers of several classic rock songs. Her cover Smashing Pumpkins' Tonight, Tonight was my favorite, and similar to this Seattle performance.
