A foul stench permeates the air. You may remember me from such performances as Mr Onion and Mr Nimbus from the other place, or Rocky Robben from the days of AHFC.

Terrible game anyway. So dull. The NPCs are all morons
You've got to hand it to the resident doctors. No other group is so far up their own arse as to demand another(!) 20+% pay rise while the rest of the country (excluding bankers) see year-on-year real terms pay cuts

Maybe they bloody love sushi?
Maybe they're inside eating sushi sticks
Buon, Gittens, Guiu, is this a carabao cup game?
Good luck with the replies. The "paid in my whole life" mindset is deeply embedded. The entitled generation who think of tax/NI as their own personal savings pot to be drawn down at retirement. They vote en mass and have been pandered to for a very long time. They won't give it up easily.
life expectacy is in the 80s. When the state pension came in life expectancy was ~5 years beyond retirement age.
is one of the songs me shouting at pedestrians as I try to cycle home via seven dials?
an article about how wonderful we're doing now, what an attractive proposition we are, so many bidders. And yet, no real FOS in the entire BlueCo era.
everything is far too structured now, we've lost some of the blood and guts 100 mile an hour stuff that made PL entertaining. If anything we're heading back in the right direction. Even when they were winning back-to-back titles, City fans were bored stiff watching that control-ball.
not sure I'd call it quiet, always packed before kick off, a very nice pub. It used to be my pre-game watering hole.
Maybe it's the prospect of yearly below inflation wage increases that attracts them?
Indeed, but if I had to guess, I'd say it will come off in the most harmful way possible
It's accounted for in that they never expect to get the money. Written off before it's due
The write offs are modelled in the system. Only about 50% of all student debt is ever expected to be repaid. Ridiculous system. As I've been saying over and over, the UK's current motto might as well be 'can't someone else pay for it'. So much shit to sort out, no plans, and no one wants to pay.
Joking, of course. Or am I? 😀
We're enemies now, thems the rules.
4/10 unis are in big financial trouble. Gvnmt doesn't want to know. Key funding stream is fees, largely overseas fees as each home student is loss making. They're also about to introduce a tax on overseas students making it worse. Either fees go up, gvnmt put more money in, or many unis go bust.
Worse than that, government is introducing a tax on overseas students. Further crippling the sector's finances.
How would you fix the financial black hole University's currently face?
I know not all pensioners are loaded, but the single focus on one group because they vote in numbers has got to stop. We can't keep bribing pensioners at the ballot box at everyone else's expense. We have an aging population, it's only getting worse.
