A decade-long effort by immigration restrictionists to overturn Obama-era rules allowing the spouses of H-1B holders to legally work (people potentially here for decades while their spouse waits in employment visa backlogs) has now finally been put to bed.
The Supreme Court passed on a challenge to employment eligibility for spouses of H-1B visa holders.

The DC Circuit had upheld the lawfulness of work permits for H-4 dependent visa holders last year.

The billionaire Illinois governor, who is on the 2028 presidential short list, reported the earnings in his latest tax filings after playing blackjack at a Las Vegas casino.
