Trump's lawyers would move to block Ohtani from batting, claiming the rules don't *allow* pitchers to bat. Lower courts would consider sanctions, then SCOTUS would stay the TRO pending a ruling on the merits, which of course would take the bat out of Ohtani's hands for the rest of the postseason.
