Mona Hardesty ends up dead and lands in the afterlife, greeted by an airhead with the IQ of a marshmallow. No offense to marshmallows. Now she's being interrogated in a concrete cell by an Officer Prachtor who has the demeanor of a drill sergeant. And Prachtor wants every detail of Mona's life before anyone will agree to investigate Mona's murder. Seriously?! What part of her ex being a Charles Manson clone do they fail to grasp? So Mona relives her sordid life against a backdrop of multiple U.S. political assassinations, the Vietnam War and hippies burning draft cards. So many problems in the world, yet she is denied the chance to marry the boy she loved because they had different religions. Mona's story spirals into the gutter of urban decay…
