I like to think my great grandfather, an amateur inventor, chatted with him about all sorts of devices. I have absolutely no evidence of this, but it's a nice thought.

I found him living with his family across the street from my own family in 1905! I first came upon this coincidence when I read an article about his brownstone -- still standing, with a commemorative plaque -- and recognized the address from my family research.
