NBC just gutted the very teams that gave marginalized voices a seat at the table—then called it “restructuring.”

The cuts:

📌NBC BLK (Black community coverage)

📌NBC Latino (Latino community coverage)

📌NBC Asian America (Asian American community coverage)

📌NBC Out (LGBTQ+ community coverage)

This story is extraordinary even by 2025 standards. Marco Rubio, the nation's top diplomat, made a deal with Bukele and agreed to renege on informant agreements in a years-long DOJ investigation into MS-13, totally undercutting credibility of such agreements.

Rubio promised to betray U.S. informants to get Trump’s El Salvador prison deal
To secure U.S. access to President Nayib Bukele’s notorious CECOT prison, Rubio agreed to turn over several MS-13 leaders central to a long-running Justice Department investigation.

KARL: Don't you have questions about Venezuela?

JOHNSON: What about it?

K: The targeting of these boats. You have no questions about how they're doing it?

J: No. I believe in peace through strength. You take out one boat full of fentanyl, you save hundreds of thousands of American lives

The Kids Who Sued Trump Just Lost Big in Court. Or Did They? A federal judge threw out their climate lawsuit against the president a few days ago. But legal experts say there was a silver lining in the judge’s opinion. www.nytimes.com/2025/10/18/c...

Huge health care premium increases being announced in states as a result of the policies of Donald Trump & JD Vance. The premium increases for families range from $13,700 per year in Maryland to $23,700 in Kentucky. All because Donald Trump & JD Vance put the wealthy above ordinary Americans.

As the intensity of the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown has risen, residents of Chicago are increasingly pushing back. Federal agents repeatedly have been observed releasing smoke bombs, tear gas and pepper balls to disperse residents who gather or capture videos.

Residents have begun forming volunteer groups to monitor their neighborhoods for federal immigration agents. Others honk their horns or blow whistles when they see agents nearby.

Literally nothing coming from the Pentagon, DHS, or DOJ should be considered credible unless backed up by an independent source outside of government. (This, for the record, is a huge problem!)
