The term “toxic masculinity” has nothing to do with loving sports, gym, cars, hunting, or blue collar jobs. It refers to how you, as a man, treat others in life who are softer than you. That to be a real man you must treat anyone feminine like dirt. That femininity = inferiority.

I also have a ton of zoomer coworkers and I’ve been exposed to how many of these kids are just casually doing c*ke when they go out. It’s shockingly prevalent — I feel like the D.A.R.E. generation was too scared to be so care-free about hard drugs lol

I would also add that if cigarettes were offered in “fruity unicorn”-ass flavors back then, more people our age would be smokers lol. However I see the connection too.
