The worst part is not being able to call and check up on mom every day. So I will physically go and check on her today. At least I'm in the same town now. But yeah I need to get myself a phone soon I think.

I still don't have a phone. I went to Wal-mart and the smartphones were too expensive and I already have a flip phone I can't figure out. I don't know. Might have to spring for one of the smart ones if something can't be figured out soon. sigh.

And if you have a Switch 2 or you're going to get one, you MUST get Donkey Kong Bannaza. Ok, you don't have to do anything but I highly recommend you do. Its the system seller at the moment. Mario Kart is fun, Donkey Kong is AMAZING. Its an absolute showcase for the Switch 2. LOVE IT.

I've had the Switch 2 since July and I gotta say this: I love the system! Is it just a bigger more powerful Switch? Yes. Thats exactly what it is. But I love the bigger screen, the joycons feel better, everything looks better on the system, and I'm still just so happy that I have it.

I lost my Xbox Series S power cord in the move. I have NO IDEA where it is. It might be one of the cords back at the house. I need to figure that out. haven't been able to play my Xbox. I have been using the PS4 more. Though less so since I got the HD antenna. lol. I still mostly play Switch 2.

As far as next year goes, the game I'm most excited about is the new Tomodachi Life. I loved the 3DS one. It was so weird! Absolutely wonderful too. So I do hope I get to play Tomodachi Life in 2026. Have no idea about the rest.

I'm not really excited for Metroid Prime 4 either. I'd love to review it sure, but I doubt that'll happen. The only thing I'm kind of excited about game wise right now is the Disney Dreamlight Valley upcoming paid DLC for November. Hope I can get that. And then I hope I can download it. lol

Glad I'm not excited about Pokémon Z-A. I mean, it looks OK but not as good as previous ones in my opinion. Basically I'm glad because there is no way I'm getting a review code for it and doubt I could download it if I did. I don't have the money for it either.

73% into The Astral Library by Kate Quinn. This book is so good! It shouldn't be too long before I'm done with it. I recently got Ghost Story by Peter Straub so I think I will take a review book break after Astral Library (unless something else pops up) and read that.

Its nice to have TV channels again. I know, I know, it was only a week or so without them. It was just weird not having some TV to watch though. I love books and games and movies but yeah I enjoy watching TV too.

Hoping I can watch Doc & High Potential tonight. Noticed that Matlock is back on Thursday and the new Blue Bloods spinoff starts on Friday. So I will try to check those out too.

My HD antenna is much like the antennas of old, you have to move it this or that to get reception. And it gets better reception at night than during the day. Anyway, I was able to watch the newest episode of Watson last night and that was really good. Love that ending!

Oh! Guess which book I bought yesterday when I was at Wal-mart. Yep, Ghost Story by Straub. It was like fate seeing it there. Just had to buy it even though I shouldn't have. lol. So now its part of my collection and I will likely read it after I get done with my current book.
