I’ve been many people, done many things. Besides my 30+ yr marriage to Carlton, most proud to have volunteered with the #OneInTeen #LGBTQ youth group in Nashville for 20 yrs. Was also part of #GeeksResist #DemCast prior to being banned from Musk’s Twitter.

Why has no one been fired over this?

It didn’t just grow there of its own accord. Why hasn’t this been front page news across America?

Oh, right, there are different rules for the GOP these days of chaos & hate — I keep forgetting that.

One chart that every Democratic candidate should be using to help explain why the GOP can't and won't govern. We all know that the Democrats have failed us on many issues, but their achievements are often overlooked & underappreciated.

Oh hey, that attorney was me, and the journalists and legal observers were my clients
“Journalism is not a crime ... it’s the only profession that’s explicitly mentioned in the Bill of Rights,” an attorney told the City Council Wednesday. The city will pay $938K to journalists and legal observers targeted and attacked by police while covering the 2020 racial justice protests.

Judge Graber went hard and I cannot stress enough that Judge Graber *does not go hard*
Divided Ninth Circuit panel stays injunction against President Trump’s federalization of National Guard troops in Portland:

Judge Graber, who is no firebrand, wrote quite a dissent—encouraging en banc review and some patience on the part of the public:

It isn’t just the Young Republicans, it’s endemic in the Republican Party 👇

In social movement studies, we talk about how marches and protests expand the threshold of acceptable risk so that people take more and bigger social risks IN PUBLIC, EN MASSE. This is extremely important for the bourgeois white folks holding signs and building social rapport.
Not a shitpost: #NoKings is feel-good performative activism for comfortable mostly upper and upper middle class white folks and that’s good, actually. Millions of people in the streets protesting a fascist regime is good. It is good for the normie baseline to be massive displays of public dissent.

Rhetoric becomes action.
Hate becomes bombs.
Elimination becomes reality.

Get organized. Defend our communities from elimination hate.
Americans love re-runs,
but why pick the painful ones to experience again.

Absolutely True!
This needs to front & center.
There are no better visuals of how Trump's priorities do not match those of 80% of Americans. Democrats need to be talking about this NOW!

New CNBC poll finds:

Trump and the GOP blamed for economic damage over the shutdown by 53-37.

Also, Trump's economic approval is down to 42-55, the worst ever in CNBC polling.

And, Trump's standing on inflation at an abysmal 34-62.
"There are 2 things that are happening: Trump is doing incredible harm to the country and breaking things that are going to be difficult, if not impossible, to repair ... But the second ... and that’s equally important, is that he’s in physical, cognitive, and political decline." trib.al/q2i4yM6
FFS! They are doing this during the federal government shutdown. People are missing paychecks, but HIS pet project is an essential government service.
Trump said the ballroom wouldn’t interfere with the existing structure.

If a Democrat did this MAGA would be furious.

The No Kings protests were fantastic

But we have to keep going

Because Trump’s fascism will never stop-as evidenced by the fact that his ICE thugs tear gassed protesters in Portland last night-and we can’t let him win

Stay engaged, my friends

We have a country to save
