Perfect for this time of year, @philmoscovitch.bsky.social shares hot sauce recipes (and one for sauerkraut!)

But he also makes it sound so easy that I’m going to try it this weekend with my bumper crop of habaneros. 🌶️

You are so right. In the midst of all the awfulness and ugliness, we really do need moments of peace and beauty.

The colours have been so vibrant this year!

Drove by this vibrant view earlier and just had to pull over to admire it for a bit.

As L.M. Montgomery wrote, "I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers."
Numerous trees in varying brilliant shades of red, orange, yellow, and green are reflected in a still lake along with a small white dock.

It’s needed!

My family members in Yarmouth County are quite concerned about their wells right now.

“There’s certainly a hint that we’re going to have a winter, but I don’t think it will be as brutal or strong as it was traditionally back, say 20 or 30 years ago,” David Phillips of Environment and Climate Change Canada said.

It’s an active transportation trail in my community here in Nova Scotia. And this isn’t even the nicest portion of it, as it leads out to the roadway. But last night the light was just right in this spot. 😊

“Mounting evidence shows cities designed for and by women take a more intersectional approach. At the same time, these measures are shown to contribute to more vibrant and flourishing places, focused on more inviting walking, cycling, and public transport and spaces.”

I enjoyed the incredibly rich hues of tonight’s suburban sunset. Calm in the chaos!
A path leading to a roadway is lined with trees with foliage of varying shades of red and green. A golden orange and pink sunset fills the sky.

« Les moments passent… comme les émotions. Que ce soit de la joie ou de la gratitude, de la colère ou de la peine, c’est éphémère. Pourquoi on ne se permettrait pas de vivre l’émotion quand elle passe, peu importe laquelle ? Pourquoi on juge l’une et pas l’autre ? »

While all d’Entremonts have roots in Pubnico, there are soooo many of us. Haha! The name Ina doesn’t ring a bell, but my mom or one of my dad’s sisters might know. I’ll ask!

I was on vacation last week and got to enjoy the fall colours. This trail path really stood out in terms of its peaceful (and somewhat magical) vibe.
Trees in shades of red, orange, green, and yellow create a canopy over a trail path covered in fallen foliage while off in the distance an opening of light among the trees appears like a round doorway.

This kind of thing surely has nothing to do with it..
