⚖️ A North Carolina court will hear pro-voting groups’ challenge to a state law that makes same-day voter registration more difficult.

- Our main message is that America is a nation for the people and by the people, and we will not bow to tyrannical abuses of power from the current administration that are trying to take away our rights, says Erica Gibson, leader of Democrats Abroad in Norway, to NTB.

Saturday's demonstration took place at the same time as the US federal government is hit by a shutdown, which has closed federal programs and services.
Protests against the current administration are taking place across the United States, with support from several other countries, including Norway. This was the third major demonstration since Donald Trump was inaugurated as president in January.
