i'm not trying to blame the guy for poor infosec or whatever, it's dogshit, but like, the panic about it is making me pause and rethink through what i know about account safety.

i'm just saying, if they can grab that stuff without phishing links getting them in, changing your password isn't going to stop them from getting it again i suppose, especially if they're pulling unique passwords for breaching.

i just don't know how this works without it social engineering being as the weak point, but i'm ignorant and dumb when it comes to actual hard hacking.
that email that got prodded, was it part of a prior data breach?
