Ich mache mal eine optimistische Rechnung nach den Debatten heute auf: volle Zustimmung für Haushalt, keine Abweichler bei denen, die tendenziell zur Regierung halten.

Mehrheit bei 289 Stimmen.

Ohne Horizons UND PS (zusammen 103 Stimmen), die heute beide sehr kritisch waren, keine Mehrheit.

- Aussetzen der Rentenreform bis zur Präsidentschaftswahl 2027

Jetzt geht alles schnell für die Regierung Lecornu II: Antrittsrede im Parlament heute 15 Uhr, gleichzeitig Einreichen des Haushalts.

Die Linien sind verhärtet: die PS will das Aussetzen der Rentenreform als Voraussetzung zur Tolerierung.
Die LR-Spitze ist strikt dagegen, deren Abgeordnete weniger.

Wie halten es die bisherigen Regierungsparteien mit der neuen Regierung, die gestern Abend ernannt wurde?

In normalen Zeiten ein einfacher Sachverhalt: wer in der Regierung ist, unterstützt sie. Normal und einfach ist in diesen Wochen jedoch nichts.

Ein Novum in einer Woche, die an Premieren nicht arm war: Premier Lecornu wird nach seinem Rücktritt wieder zum Premier ernannt.

Today, the EU’s Regulation on the Transparency and Targeting of Political Advertising enters into force. From now on, political ads – notably both online and offline – will have to carry a transparency label with key information about why people are seeing the ad, who paid for it and how much. 1/

Bingo! The coalition just agreed to roll out a new EV support scheme for low- and middle-income households.

The fiscal envelope isn’t huge - but it’s something to work with.

Now the focus has to be on getting the design right and coordinating as closely as possible with EU partners.

And while we can’t stop U.S. tariffs or Chinese subsidies, we certainly can ramp up demand at home.

The sole focus on the EU combustion engine phase-out, which is 10 years away, is baffling because German cars have a demand problem today

Berlin worries a new EV subsidy scheme would be fiscally too expensive.

But demand-side support is a fiscal no-brainer here.

Sanfter Hoffnungsschimmer: noch-Premier Lecornu denkt, dass ein Kompromiss zum Haushalt zeitnah mit einem neuen Premier gefunden werden kann.

Eine absolute Mehrheit der Abgeordneten wünsche keine Neuwahlen (Nebenbemerkung: die Entscheidung liegt nicht bei Ihnen).
