we havent spoken in a little over a month and for how awful that month was it was at least nice not hearing from her but i may need to talk to her again and i really really dont want to and my anxiety is spiking super high at the thought of it

i somehow managed to get some things done musically tonight

im feeling really creatively dead (and, like, dead in many other senses) lately but it was nice to get a beat together and put vocals on something else

the voice is an instrument like any other and since im down a significant number of instruments from before i need to take advantage of every single one i still have

and that includes my voice

not to mention i really like what i can do with it now

im gonna be exploring where my voice can actually go a lot more because i want to do all sorts of stuff with it

its not to hide my voice or anything

i just like how nasty it makes it sound especially in some of the bigger soundscapes

most of my regular singing doesnt get covered by distortion or anything so its not like im not still showing off what im actually capable of
