BRING ME 2000s REFERENCES OR GIVE ME DEATH!!

Got to review Tasty Ramen and ended up having a fair bit to talk about, it's a super neat lil' thing visually that lends itself to a lot of potential, but feels fairly barebones as of now.

I'm a bit cynical, so I wonder if the true intention of this "games should be 100 bucks" take has roots in an opinion more related to "I like the video game culture and I don't want devs to cater to poor people"

Microsoft's approach of eternal growth to all of its branches has only worsened after the long-lined of fuck ups and stupid buy-outs they've done in recent times, chief among them the AI investment

The only ones paying for it are the consumers and ESPECIALLY employees

These past weeks I've been feeling a drive to write like no other, wich by all accounts should be a good thing, but it's also turning into a self destructive anxiety for not meeting the "quota" that drive demands. If anything, it may be a sign that I may need to channel it into narrative stuff too

this just made me realize there aren't enough skins like that and that's kind of upsetting LMAO.

The only reason some play Sora is because of the Timeless River skin, they spice up the character so much and are cool as hell. Give me Country-render sprite DK, then it'll be the best game ever!

If the world is just and sensible, then we'll likely get a smash ultimate plus of some kind or even easier ways to make previous releases more accessible, 'cause unless smash 6 shakes up the entire formula from the ground up in a smaller scope, I don't see it happenning

Seeing Smash talk making the rounds and it got me thinking on the possibility of a new game, and one hand I think the internet asa whole has suffered enough but on the other I REALLY miss the sheer excitement and even rage of seing 'Glupniss Macklanky' from Conker's Pocket Tales Joining the roster

the smash scene is comprised by a bunch of guys that grew up EXCLUSIVELY with nintendo stuff and never branched off to any arcade of third party fighting games, a scene that lives in its on bubble almost completely.

tbf (and as much as dex discourse grinds my gears) none have accounted for every pokémon ever, every region has had its own set of encounters and some ditch the nat dex entirely.

When people ask for every pokemon ever, they mostly mean being able to trade your past mons to future releases
